Export groups to share high-level activity and trends.
Which groups are actually active? Is the activity positive and healthy?
Exporting groups allows your organization to view group activity at a glance. This data can be used to share the sentiment, conversational health, and message trends over a 7, 28, or 90 day period.
Benefits to Exporting Groups:
- Identify inactive groups to archive on your collaboration platforms.
- Share high-level sentiment trends across groups.

- Identify most active groups across collaboration platforms.
How to Export Groups:
- Open Spotlight > Groups.
- Select the desired number of groups you wish to export using Results per Page.
- Click the Export Group Data as CSV
button. - Access exported data in your Downloads folder as defined in your browser settings.
Tips to Make the Most of Group Exports
Use Aware's Filtering and Sorting Options to Get the Data that Matters Most
Sort groups by message count to easily see your most active groups, or your groups that haven't had activity in months, or even years. This can help your organization identify groups that can be archived.
Adjust the Results Per Page to Export more Data
Your group export will match the current number of results on the page. If you wish to export more than the first 10 groups in your list, take advantage of the Results Per Page dropdown to export more data.
