Aware's Password Detection Model🔒
What is Password Detection?
Passwords are notoriously difficult to detect in natural language since any word can be a password depending on a system’s requirements. The new Password Detection rule trigger in Monitoring is powered by our machine learning model that identifies messages where a password is being shared within a collaboration platform.
How Should This Model Be Used?
Today, the beta release of Password Detection is in Monitoring only. We plan to allow Sensitive Data analysis in Search and Discover soon. You can experiment with various dials included with Password Detection to determine the optimal “recipe” for your use case. You may be curious to first see what is flagged and captured, and then opt to cast a wider net using the lowest confidence level before further narrowing your approach.
We are excited to announce Password Detection as the first machine learning powered rule trigger released as a part of our broader Sensitive Data Detection roadmap. For further information please visit our support site or reach out to support@awarehq.com.
