May is Mental Health Awareness Month, which can also serve as a friendly reminder for organizations to prioritize their employees' well-being inside and outside of the office and this can start with a simple positive shout-out! Research states that employee recognition contributes to higher levels of employee engagement, quality employee performance, and workplace stability. 

💪 EMPOWERED: AWARE USER STORIES

The anxiety-buffer hypothesis suggests that self-esteem acts as a shield against mental health factors such as fear and loneliness, hampering the symptoms of anxiety and depression. Using acts of recognition to enhance self-esteem for team members is especially likely to have a positive impact, now more than ever.

A large retail company introduced a monthly award to recognize their employees and the valuable work they put in. 

Aware provided an efficient and accurate system to identify top performing individuals. The Spotlight application highlighted trending topics around the nomination process and day-to-day work, and helped gauged overall employee sentiment in real-time. Signal’s rules helped proactively identify employees that may be a good fit for the award. Finally, the team used Search & Discover to further understand and highlight nominated employees’ accomplishments.

Implementing Aware helped this organization recognize more employees than ever before while also boosting their company culture and morale.
