Once the Aware Slackbot is installed as part of the Slack Integration Process, users will be able to enable Signal Slackbot Notifications for their Signal Rule Actions:
For DM Notifications, no additional set-up is required.
For Channel Notifications, Slack admins need to make sure to add the Aware Slackbot to the channel they would like to use for notifications.
In order to add the Slackbot to a channel, users must:

Right-click on the channel and select “View Channel Details”

Go to Integrations → Add an App

Search for and add the Aware bot:
- Users will get the “[Aware Bot] was added to [#channel-name] by [user]” message in the channel once the bot is added. After that, they should be able to use the channel for slackbot notifications by adding that channel to the Slack Notification setting in your Signal Rule.
