Events will be triggered based on the Rules you have created. Rules are categorized by your Policies. You can view Events multiple different ways within Aware Signal.
There are a variety of ways to view Events in Aware. This article will review the following:
- Global Events
- Events within a Policy
- Tombstoned Events (Slack Only)
1. To view the global Events page click on the Events sub header under Signal
2. This is where you can filter through all compiled Events that have been triggered. You can filter by Policy, Content Type, Platform, Action, Source, and Date Range in the upper right-hand side
3. Select the Event row to view additional information and context
- For Threads - You will see the entire thread displayed
- For Private Message (Chat) - 10 messages on each side of the triggered message will display
Events within a Policy
1. Click the Policies sub header under Signal
2. Click on the title of the desired Policy
3. Select the Events tab
4. Here you will see Events that only pertain to the Rules that you have built for that Policy
5. Use the dropdown buttons at the top right and filter by various categories: Rules, Content Type, Platforms, Action and Visibility
3. Select the Event row, to view additional information and context
- For Threads - You will see the entire thread displayed
- For Private Message (Chat) - 10 messages on each side of the triggered message will display
Tombstoned Events (Slack Only)
1. Select the Tombstone tab within the Global or Policy Event page
2. Select an Event that you would like to investigate or take action on
3. Chose Permanently Delete or Restore to Slack
