Once your search has finished processing, there are many different ways to work with the returned data. See below for a visual guide that will help to direct you on where to start.
Reviewing a Processed Search
Let's get started!
1. Once your search has been processed, you will no longer see the processing icon and you will now be able to click into your desired search.
2. Once you click on your desired Search and Discover report you can review all your results within the report. You can filter your results using the drop down's located at the top of the list.
Hint: Use the Search by Keyword feature to filter through Search Results.
- AI Analysis: Filtering by AI analysis allows you to filter messages based on sentiment, toxic speech, code detection, language, information quality. These filter options are powered by Aware's AI model that is used in other modules like Signal and Spotlight.
- Source: Filtering by source allows you to narrow down results by public groups, private groups, or direct messages.
- Attachments: Filtering by attachments will narrow down results to only messages that contain the selected attachment types. Please note that this option will catch only attachments uploaded through your collaboration platform by using the paperclip icon or integrated storage service.
- Modifications: Filtering by modification allows you to quickly see messages that were edited or deleted.
- Platforms: If your organization is integrated with multiple collaboration platforms, you can filter by platform.
3. To view more details around the Event just click into the event you choose. The message that triggered the event is highlighted and you can see the context surrounding the conversation. From this window you can also export the individual conversation using the Export to PDF button.
Slack Reactions
Slack users can view emoji reactions to messages when viewing them in the context panel for processed searches. Emoji reactions are loaded by using a button that says “Load Reactions." The Slack API will return a maximum of 50 count per individual emoji reaction per message and can be exported in the existing PDF functionality - users should make sure they load them first.
Marking important conversations
While reviewing conversations, you can use the Mark Messages button to mark an event as important. This will allow you to isolate these messages in exports and bulk download attachments and videos from these important conversations when exporting.
Exporting Search Results
If you would like, you can export the data you choose by clicking the purple Create Export button. More information on building exports is available here.
